Home / How We Work
A journey we take
together.
Three phases, one continuous conversation. Design & Development — the second phase — is where belcor® sets itself apart and where your input shapes the outcome.
The heart of this step is to clearly understand customer needs, requirements, and challenges for a specific application that is performed together with the customer. Typical data to be collected: cell-related mechanical constraints (BOL, EOL), operating temperatures, and fire exposure requirements.
This is where belcor® sets itself apart. We co-engineer the solution through an iterative cycle with physical prototypes — delivered in 2–3 weeks each — that you can test under real conditions in your application. Your feedback shapes the next iteration.
Binding quotation is negotiated and closed. Since the solution is technically validated; this step is about formalizing the terms to move to series production.
Each step in detail
What actually happens at each phase — and what you get out of it.
Understand
The starting point is always listening. We analyse your battery system requirements together: cell chemistry, operating temperatures, mechanical constraints, required certifications, available space in the module.
The result is an initial requirements spec and a preliminary solution — a concrete starting point for the next phase. No commitment, no cost at this stage.
Design and developMost important
This is where belcor® sets itself apart. We co-engineer the solution through an iterative cycle of physical prototypes — delivered in 2–3 weeks each — that you test under real conditions in your application. Your feedback shapes the next iteration.
You stay in the loop at every cycle: data, samples, technical reviews, and refinements. Most projects converge in 2–4 iterations. Pre-RFI / RFI proposals run in parallel, so commercial alignment is never a surprise.
Contract
With the solution technically validated, we move to the binding offer (RFQ) and negotiation. Because Design was done with you in the room, this step is about formalizing terms — not re-opening the technical conversation.
Production in whatever format your process requires: rolls, sheets, die-cut parts, or multilayer assemblies. European production with global industrial shipping capacity.
